Strategy Associate(Current)

Aug 2025 — Present
  • Took Yoco live in its first European market, leading EMEA expansion end to end: built the market selection model, owned the payments partnership from first approach to signed contract, and set up market operations and the local team
  • Signed a global payments provider as Yoco's international partner, running the relationship from first approach through negotiation to contract
  • Reached 2,000+ active merchants in under 3 months with the launch of Plans, the first pricing plan in South Africa bundling POS and payments: two launch waves, ICP definition, in-app and Meta campaigns, and merchant interviews that shaped the external strategy
  • Cut handheld POS pricing by half and lifted sign-ups, running the pricing experiment programme across hardware, software and payments; results set the Plans price points
